David Horovitz, MD - Serving the Needs of Bakersfield Urology Patients
David Horovitz, MD, is a Bakersfield, California, physician with expertise in conditions of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Focusing on the medical and surgical treatment of conditions that affect the genitourinary system, he excises cancerous tumors and addresses kidney stones and bladder dysfunction. David Horovitz, MD, also possesses in-depth knowledge of erectile dysfunction, infertility, and other sexual health issues.
Dr. Horovitz provides medical services at local institutions such as Adventist Health Hospital and Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Within the latter institution, he has held responsibilities as a member of the Surgical Supervisory Committee. Dr. Horovitz completed undergraduate studies in biology at York University and earned a medical degree at the University of Western Ontario. His presentation “Outcome of Third Renal Allograft Retransplants vs. Primary Transplants from Paired Donors” earned him Best Poster Presentation for original scientific research at the Margaret Moffatt Research Day. He completed his urology residency at the University of Toronto, Canada's premier academic institution. and then went on to pursue an endourology and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
